Santana 20 Sailors Win in a Schocker at the College Sloop PCCs

Payson Infelise (skipper) and Carson Reynolds (middle), along with new bowman ,Nathaniel Campbell, schocked the big boys from  USC, CAL, UCI & Hawaii to win the  Sloop Pacific Coast Championship, sailed in the venerable Shields, posting a 1,2,4,1,1 line.  Caltrans middle man and UCI coach Mike Pinckney served as PRO.  The win is the first ever for the start-up sailing team at Orange Coast College.  The threesome will now head to New York for the College  Sloop Nationals.  We are sure that those formative years steering the 20s gave them the edge. Congratulations gents!
